NASA Astronaut Rex Walheim at ACMI

NASA Astronaut Rex Walheim will be in Melbourne to help launch the Star Voyager: Exploring Space on Screen exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). While in Melbourne he will share his experiences of three space shuttle missions in a Public Talk at ACMI and talk to students through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development's Virtual Conference Centre.

Mission Specialist and Flight Engineer on NASA's recently returned final Space Shuttle Atlantis (July 2011), Rex will talk about life as an astronaut and show video footage from his time in space.
