2015/16 VSSEC NASA Australian Space Prize

VSSEC is proud to announce that Jessica Orr, of the University of Queensland, is the winner of the 2015/16 Space Prize. She is both the recipient of the Engineering Category prize and the overall prize.

Other categories winners were Seamus Thomson, Biological Science; Cameron Cooke, Data Processing and Shannon McConachie, Geology.

In an unprecedented event, NASA was unable to choose between our winner, Jessica Orr and Biological Science Category winner, Seamus Thomson, with the result that, for the first time, TWO international internships were awarded.  This decision highlighted the extremely high calibre of students applying for the Space Prize.

Congratulations, Jessica and Seamus!
