- Two sessions covering static electricity and simple electric circuits, including informal professional learning for teachers.
- Students use balloons, PVC tubing, fur and wool to investigate the nature of electrical charge, and make foil shapes fly through the air using Van de Graaff generators.
- Students build a fundamental electric circuit, which they apply to create a 'Dancing Alien Robot' using an unbalanaced motor, CD and paperclips.
