VSSEC has two new programs for the new VCE Chemistry Study Design. Students synthesis compounds, analyse them and learn the fundamentals of using the Fourier Transform InfraRed Spectrometer, Ultra-Violet and Visible light Spectrometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Gas & Liquid Chromatograph and the High Performance Gas Chromatograph.

    Cost: $35 plus GST per student

    $100 deposit required to secure booking.

    Max students per program: Unit 2 : 24  Unit 4 : 18

    *Please note closed shoes, lab coats, glasses and gloves must be worn in the laboratory at all times.

2015/16 VSSEC NASA Australian Space Prize

VSSEC is proud to announce that Jessica Orr, of the University of Queensland, is the winner of the 2015/16 Space Prize. She is both the recipient of the Engineering Category prize and the overall prize.
